MUFTI SHOULD BE WORN!
FINE CLOTHES AT WEDDINGS. LONDON, July 16. The Bishop of Carlisle, Dr. H. H. Williams, a speech at the Diocesan Conference, said: "If I were a Church dictator I would make people wear ordinary clothes at weddings. To make a religious ceremony into a social function profanes its inner significance. Let fine clothes be worn at the civil ceremony afterwards."
