PEACE IN EUROPE.

THREE POWERS CONFERRING. British Official Wireless. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, July 16. The Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden, this evening received the French and Belgian Ambassadors and discussed with them in turn matters relating to a suggested meeting of the three Powers arising out of the communique issued at Geneva on July 3 by delegations of t*ie same Governments. It is understood that no final decision has at the moment been reached regarding the projected meeting. British opinion clearly desires to see an effort made towards achieving a general European settlement.
