POLICE ANNIHILATE ARMY. The Public Service mid-week Rugby football competition was continued yesterday at Devonport, where Police defeated Army by 29 points to 0 alter an exciting game. The scorers for the winners were Lane (2j, Roddick, Galloway, Kelk and Stewart, while Roddick converted four tries and kicked a penalty goal. For Army, Body scored a try and lioseufeldt kicked a penalty goal. l'olice and Navy are now equal for the Ivohn Cup, and an effort is being made to play the linal as a curtain-raiser at Eden Park.
