WORLD PROBLEMS.

INFLUENCE OF RELIGION. UNIVERSITY MISSION. An address entitled "The Power of tlio Spirit" was given last evening by the Rev. C. F. Andrews, being the third of a series of four in his university mission. to about 300 students of the Auckland University College and other interested persons. Subsequently Mr. Andrews led a discussion on what the individual could do to rid himself of his fears and become a peacemaker. _ jyir. Andrews said it whs unchristian to allow the ruthleesness of unlimited capitalism to become the daily habit of life. What could the individual do in his' office, or when his country was in danger? he asked. How was he to be a peacemaker? The first thing, from the Christian point of view, was, what could the individual do to clean up the mess, to get rid of fear, and to be able to feel that he was not adding to the mischief. A final address will be given this evening at the college.
