KING DEPLORES RAIN.
VISITS NAVY AT PORTSMOUTH. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 30. Tens of thousands lined the streets in Portsmouth for the King's first visit to the Navy since his accession. Rain marred the ceremonies and the inspection of ratings was cancelled. The King visited the Navy and Marine the torpedo school, dockyard and a number of ..rsliips, and wore an admiral's uniform. He deplored the bad luck of the heavy rain.
