ART UNION WINNERS.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The first prize of £500 in the military art union, drawn to-niglit, was won by Mr. W. Jenkins, of Takaka. Nelson Province. The second prize, of £100, was won by "Daring Deed," lan Cullen, and the third, of £50, by "Maybe," Christchurch. The art union, for which the prizemoney was £1000, divided into 58 prizes, was organised to collect funds for territorial units in the South Island and the Christcliurch branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association. The profits wili be about £1150.
