PARISH WOMEN.
MEETING AT PAPAKURA. The June meeting of the Papakura Parish Women's Association, which includes St. John's, Drury, and Karaka Churches, was held in the Papakura Parish Hall yesterday afternoon. Mrs. H.- Walters, president, presided over a good attendance. The competition, a vase of violets, resulted in Mrs. W. L. Elliott and Mrs, H. C. Baulf tieing for first place, Mrs. I. Beams 2, Mrs. Dreadon 3. An address was given by the Rev. ;F. P. de L. Willis, • vicar of St. Andrew's, Epsom, on the Oxford Group Movement. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames W. R. Clarke, Langford, L. Kernot and Taylor. Amongst those present were: Mesdames H. Walters (Karaka), G. F. Williams (Opaheke), A. L. Turner, G. S. Kinloch (Drury), T. C. Seaton, H. C. Baulf, H. Dreadon (Opaheke), H. Marx (Alfriston), L. Dreadon (Opaheke), Patterson (Opaheke), I. Beams, Bates, Jellyman, C. Renwick, Langford, W. L. Elliott, M. Gunthorp, C. L. Sutton (Ponga), Firman, L. Kernot, V. Hardwick, Taylor, W. R. Clark, F. D. Wood (Drury), Misses Julie Williams (Opaheke), G. Cossey (Drury), C. Kinloch (Drury), M. Dreadon (Opaheke), Margens (2) and McKenzie.
