CITY OF CANTON AND PIAKO. WAIWERA FOR LONDON. EMPIRE STAR SAILS TO-MORROW. The City of Canton will complete the discharge of her Auckland cargo from >7c\v York and leave for Wellington this afternoon. She also discharges at Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. The Piako is busy loading for London at the King's wharf and is expected to leave for Tokomarit Bay at 7 a.m. to-morrow. The Shaw-Savill Company's motor vessel Waiwera is now a full ship and will sail for London and West Coast ports at 5 p.m. to-day. Slie goers via Cape Horn and Las Palmas, and is due at> London on August 1. The Blue Star Line's motor vessel Empire Star has been delayed by the rain in her loading and is now to sail for London to-mor-row evening. She goes via Panama and is due at London on August 4. Recorder sailed for Norfolk Island shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday. After repairing the shore end of the Pacific cable she proceeds to Newcastle and Singapore and will be absent for a long time. (L.D.N.) Eclipse completed discharging about 5000 tons of petrol at the Western wharf and left for Wellington at 10.40. this morning. (Y.O. Co.) Niagara, which left Vancouver oil June 17, is due at Suva on Friday and arrives at Auckland next Holiday, sailing for Svdncy at 5 p.m. oil Tuesday. (U.S.S. Co.) Monowai arrives on Monday from Sydney and sails at 8 p.m. next day on a cruise to Samoa, Fiji and adjacent islands. (U.S.S. Co.) Maunganui left San Francisco to-day for 'Wellington and Sydney. She is due at Wellington on Monday, July 20. (U.S.S. Col) Monterey left Honolulu yesterday for Pago Pago and Suva. Slie is due at Suva next Tuesday and arrives at Auckland at 7 a.in. on Friday, July 10, sailing the same day for Sydney and Melbourne. (H. and M.) Mariposa, which left Auckland on Saturday, left Suva at 5 p.m. yesterday for Sail Francisco, via ports. (H. and M.) Waipiata is loading for the South at the Prince's wharf, and is due to sail on Friday afternoon. (U.S.S. Co.) Kaimiro arrived yesterday afternoon with coal from Newcastle and is dis- . charging at the King's wharf. She sails for Gisborne to-morrow evening. (U.S.S. Co.) Poolta left Greymoutli at 7 p.m. yesterday after being unable to cross the bar for several days. She is due here on Saturday morning. (U.S.S. Co.) Hauraki left Karotonga on Monday, and after calling at other islands of the Cook Group, comes to Auckland, where she is due next Tuesday. (U.S.S. Co.) Wanganella left Wellington yesterday for Sydney. The Monowai leaves Sydney at noon on Friday for Auckland and is due on Monday afternoon. After discharge the vessel will be withdrawn trom the intercolonial service and will be replaced by the Marama, which will be reco,mmissioned next week and will leave Wellington for Sydney on July 10. || The Monowai will leave Auckland next Tuesday evening on an excursion cruise to Nukualofa, Vavau, Apia (calling off Niua- ft foou Island), Levuka and Suva.
