CITY OF CANTON AND PIAKO. WAIWERA FOR LONDON. EMPIRE STAR SAILS TO-MORROW. The City of Canton will complete the discharge of her Auckland cargo from >7c\v York and leave for Wellington this afternoon. She also discharges at Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. The Piako is busy loading for London at the King's wharf and is expected to leave for Tokomarit Bay at 7 a.m. to-morrow. The Shaw-Savill Company's motor vessel Waiwera is now a full ship and will sail for London and West Coast ports at 5 p.m. to-day. Slie goers via Cape Horn and Las Palmas, and is due at> London on August 1. The Blue Star Line's motor vessel Empire Star has been delayed by the rain in her loading and is now to sail for London to-mor-row evening. She goes via Panama and is due at London on August 4. Recorder sailed for Norfolk Island shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday. After repairing the shore end of the Pacific cable she proceeds to Newcastle and Singapore and will be absent for a long time.
