CORONER ADJOURNS INQUIRY.

Following the death of Mrs. Catherine j Filmer Carrick in an Auckland private hospital yesterday, an inquest * was opened this morning by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., coroner. It was adjourned after the taking of evidence of identification. Mrs. Carrick, who was to undergo an operation, died on coming out of the anaesthetic. • Mrs. Carrick was the wife of Mr. Eugene Carrick, and lived at 151, Jervois Road, Hern© Bay.
