FINE PENNANT RECORD.

At the annual meeting of tlie Rawhitl Bowling Club, it was staled that the financial position was considerably brighter, the income for the year having exceeded expenditure by £23.

The club came out with the fine record of third in its section in the pennant competition, With tlie average of 50.1'.". Officers elected:—Patron, Sir. H. Samways; president, Mr. A. G. Mason; vicepresidents, Messrs. C. H. Ryman, C. Keller, J. Savin; secretary, Mr. F. Penn; treasurer, Mr. F. J. Worthington; committee, Messrs. M. Allan, F. Stewart, I{. A. Ryalls, J. McCullotigli, E. T. Walker, It. Urquhart; auditor, Mr. J. Mel). Coleman; solicitor, Mr. R. Urquhart; match committee, Messrs. C. M. Culpin, W. Aylett, A. G. Mason; sole selector for pennant matches, Mr. C. M. Culpin; delegates to Auckland Centre, Messrs. .T. B. Paterson, G. P. Brown: green superintendent, Mr. C. H. Ryman; umpires, Messrs. A. Martin, C. Chiplin, A. McPlierson; grounds committee, Messrs. E. It was decided to enter eight teams for tlie pennant competition. Special thanks were extended to the green superintendent, Mr. C. H. Ryman, for liis services.

L. N. Thomson, Rawhiti champion for six seasons, was congratulated on securing the honour of champion of champions. New honours' boards had been donated by Mr J. McCollougli. while Mr. C. H. Ry.mnn had. donated £23 43 toward a special building fund.
