DEPARTMENT'S. ATTITUDE. KAIPARA BOARD'S SCHEME. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. Information that the Health Department's officers are not favourable to the Kaipara Hospital Board's scheme for the erection of temporary accommodation at the Northern Wairoa Hospital at Te Kopuru pending the parrying out of a major scheme involving the erection of a. new hospital at Dargaville was considered by the board yesterday. In the course of a lengthy discussion several members deprecated the action of the officers and expressed the opinion that the situation had not been fully considered. Thp board deckled that in its opinion a temporary scheme should be proceeded with, and that the support of contributing bodies be solicited in pressing the matter with the; Department. It was also decided to call a meeting of contributing authorities for a further conference on July 3.
