SHIP TOTAL LOSS.
Wrecked on West Australian Reef. ANOTHER VESSEL REFLOATED. (Received 2 p.m.) PERTH, this day. With rudder broken and every hold flooded, it is feared that the Danishbuilt, Norwegian-owned motorship Stanford, which is stranded on a West Australian coastal reef, will be a total loss. The vessel, which has a serious list, had a cargo of 0000 tons of cement and 1300 tons of coke for West Australia. Passengers from the Stanford, which is fast becoming a total wreck, have been transferred to the motorship Koolinda, which stood by the stranded vessel throughout yesterday. The freighter Era, which ran on to a sandbank near Cape Jaffa, 200 miles from Port Adelaide while steaming to the rescue of the drifting disabled freighter Mungana, has been refloated after lying on the sandbank for. three days.
