FOOTBALL TRAINS.

RUGBY, LEAGUE AND SOCCER. To meet the requirements of the supporters of football who wish to make the journey to Auckland on the occasion of the international matches, the Railway Department have arranged for special trains to run. For the England v. Auckland League match on July 25, a day excursion is fixed to run from Hikurangi. On August 8, a week-end trip from Opua has been arranged for patrons to see the first League Test at Carlaw Park. For the second T«pt on August 15, there will be a day excursion from. Hikurangi and a week-end from Rotorua and Te Kuiti. For the Australia v. Auckland Rugby game there will be a week-end trip from Taneatua and Thames on August 22. Arrangements arc also in hand for a week-end trip to Wellington for the Soccer Test between Australia and New Zealand on July 11.
