DEATH ON BIRTHDAY.
ACCOUNTANT'S COLLAPSE.
RESIDENT OF DARGAVILLE.

DARGAVILLE, Wednesday,
The death occurred suddenly last evening of Mr. Arthur Louis Billing, a public accountant. He was a,t his home seated .in an easy chair, when he collapsed and died. Although he had been ailing for some weeks lie was able to attend his audit duties yesterday, which was his 47th birthday.
Mr. Billing came to Dargaville in 1912. In 1016 ho was appointed secretary to the Northern Wairoa Co-opera-tive Dairy Company, Ltd., a position which he held until 1931, when he entered into practice upon his own account. He was held in very high esteem in business circles, and was auditor for many official and semiofficial bodies Jfiid institutions. He is •survived by ]:« wife and seven children.
