EX-SERVICEMEN.
* POINT CHEVALIER CLUB. ' An increase in the membership of the Point Chevalier Ex-Servicemen's Club was revealed in the report of the year's activities presented at the annual meeting. The club president, Mr. A. Edgar, presided over a large attendance. Reference was made to the value of the clubrooms opened last year. A record number of social gatherings had been held and special thanks were due to the ladies of the committee for their work, more particu-1 larly in furnishing and decorating the | rooms. The balance-sheet disclosed u most satisfactory year. Tho following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P.; vice-patron, Mr. F. Hylton; president, Mr. A. Edgar; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Dilly. S. Crookbnin, H. Allen and S. Fairweather; secretary. Mr. H. Quedley; assistant secretary, Mr. H. Robinson; treasurer, Mr. R. Saundercoek: executive, Messrs. Mclvor, G. Jackson, R. Boag, J. Valvoi, F. Phil pott,; F. Applegreen, J. Mitchell, H. Nicholltf and S. "Dunmall: club reporter, Mr. S. Smith; auditors, Messrs. W. Reynolds and H. Cotteril.
