BASKETBALL.
AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. At' the fortnightly meeting of the Auckland Basketball Association, held at the Y.W.C.A., it was decided that' ii sufficient teams desire to play, a progressive tournament will be held on the King's Birthday. The committee is endeavouring to arrange representative matches for each grade, as it feels that in doing oo it will be furthering the interests and standards of basketball in every way The progress of the queen carnival wnl be recorded every Saturday.
