It shows the trend of the market over twelve months for a comprehensive list of securities, at the same time indicating the latest movements, namely, from a week ago to the date of compilation. The rate of interest obtainable to present-day purchasers is also presented, the calculations based on the latest dividends. Where the dividend is paid in sterling, exchange is added. Following last review business has continued brisk, though a slight slackening has been noticeable in the last few days. Insurances have inipioved, but Australian securities are a little easier. Government stocks are steady.
