TROOPING OF COLOUR.

KING RIDES AT HEAD. SOVEREIGN'S BIRTHDAY. LONDON. King Edward will ride at the head of his troops for the first time on his birthday, June 23, when the annual ceremony of trooping the colour is to take place on horse guards' parade. When Prince of Wales, the King several times deputised for his father at this ceremony, dressed in the scarlet uniform and "tall black bearskin of one of the Guards' regiments. As his birthday, like that of King George, falls in June, the ceremony still will be a summer one. On June 10 King Edward is to present new colours to battalions of the foot guards at Buckingham Palace.
