THE SCOTTISH REEL.

Debutantes in London are now learning how to dance a reel correctly, so that thoy may play an active part in popular Scottish gatherings. The popularity of Scottish national dances is yearly increasing, and debutantes are being taught not only how to dance a reel, but also how to perform the intricate evolutions of the Highland country dances. Some hostesses are giving parties at which experts will be present to give instruction in the niceties of reels and flings. Scottish dances are not easy to learn, and the long modern skirt does not help in their complicated evolutions.
