W.C.T.U.
GREY LYNN. The Grey Lynn branch of the W.C.T.U. met for its monthly meeting on Wednesday evening at the residence of Mrs. Rattray. The time was spent as an informal evening. Business was discussed for forthcoming events. ONEHUNGA. The monthly meeting of the Onehunga branch took the form of a "white ribbon" rally. Mrs. Mountjoy occupied the chair. Mrs. Asliby, white ribbon agent; had decorated the room with white streamers, bows and white flowers. The girls from the Kuraliuna Maori College were present and rendered a Maori action song. Mrs. Guy Thornton gave an address, and a chorus was sung by all present MOUNT ALBERT. The annual cradle roll party was held recently by the Mount Albert branch of the W.C.T.U. There was a good attendance of mothers and little white ribboners, a musical programme rendered, and a warm welcome was given to Mrs. Sharpe, n new vice-president. Mrs. Kasper, district president, gave a short address, and Mrs. Williams, district cradle roll superintendent, also spoke.
