ON PROHIBITED GROUND. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WAIHT, Tuesday. Because he was hunting, shooting, killing or pursuing game on a prohibited area at Waitewlieta on May 17, a young man Matthew Pitcher, was fined £2 and costs by Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M., in the Waihi Magistrate's Court this morning. The case was brought by the Auckland Acclimatisation Society for which Mr. H. L. Boughton appeared.
