A Thrill for jack
The wrestling bout at the Town Hall hist evening held more than a thrill for little Jack Probert, of Devonport. Jack, at the. age of 13 years, lias been seven years 011 his back, the result of a; swimming accident, but his love for sport has not diminished, and always he has been a keen listener to the wrestlingbroadcasts. As a result of a letter to Mr. Hindman, the sports announcer at 1 ZM, little Jack was invited to be a guest of the Auckland Wrestling Association last night. Special carriage arrangements were made, and Jack was installed at the ringside. There, with Mr. Hindman as mentor, Jack had a grand evening. He was 'Introduced to both wrestlers, and the "hit," as far as Paul Boescli and Jack were concerned, was mutual. The proud possessor of a large photograph of the American, Jack was a rabid fan, and liis disappointment at the result was keen. He liad another interview with Boescli in his dressing room afterwards, however, and that helped matters a lot.
