LONDON'S RECORD TONNAGE., During the financial year of the Port of London Authority to March 111 last, GO 007."515 not registered tons ot shipping used the port of London. This is a record in the history of the port and is tons, or 2.9 per cent, better than IJo-j. THE EXPIRE STAR. \n alteration has been made in the loading itinerary of the Blue Star Line motor ship Empire Star. The vessel is now due at Wanganul, instead or Wellington, from Lvttelton to-day, to continue loading, and she will afterwards load at New Plymouth, Wellington and Auckland. She is due here 011 June 29 and sails for Loudon on July 2. WING AT L'l liECOM MISSIONED. After undergoing overhaul and survey, the Wingatui is to be recoinmissioned this week. Dr. Cowie is acting as ship's surgeon. BUILDING TO LLOYD'S REGISTER. At the end of March 1,255,:'94 tons, or nearly 71 per cent of the merchant shipbuilding in hand throughout the world was being built under the inspection of Lloyd's Register, and of this total 7.").!,112 tons are under construction in Great Britain and Ireland. Of the tonnage being built in foreign countries 530,282 tons, or 54.2 per cent, are lining constructed under the inspection of Lloyd's. * UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. Wingatui sails 011 Friday for Wellington, Picton, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. Kartigi left Wellington at 4 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. After discharge here she proceeds to Wcstport, to load for Wellington. Wainiarino leaves Timaru at 5 p.m. to-day for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. Port Whangarei sails at 3 p.lll <111 Friday for Nukualofa, to load for Auckland. Waipiata loads at Bluff 011 Thursday, to clear Dunedin 011 Saturday next for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. Kiwitea loads at Edithburg and Adelaide during the lirst half of July for Auckland, Napier, Wellington and Lyttelton, completing at Melbourne for Auckland and Napier. Aorangi leaves Sydney at 4 p.m. on Thursday for Auckland, and is due here on Moilday morning. She sails at II a.m. 011 Tuesday for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver.
