SOCIAL GATHERINGS.
Mrs. Paul H. Simpson, who is visiting Auckland, was given an enjoyable tea party in John Court's rooms, by several of her friends. She is at present the guest of Mrs. Lievv. Piper, Mount Eden. '•» « * -'*• • Mrs. 35. Stern and Mrs. S. Leviri were, joint hostesses for an enjoyable china gift afternoon held at George Court's tearooms. The guest of honour was Miss Rap Stone.
