At a meeting of the Oneliunga Presbyterian Men's Society held last evening an address on "The Origins of the World War'; was given by Mr. A. A. Smyth, M.A. From the documented evidence provided in the book bearing this title by Professor Fay, of Harvard University, and from other sources, the speaker provided information which was to a large extent contrary to popular conceptions on the subject, and he was accorded, a hearty vote of , thanks.
