Tho Hawke's Bay Jockey Club's winter meeting was concluded to-day in splendid weather before a large attendance, Excellent racing was witnessed. Tho totalisator handled £7094, compared with £609S for the second day last year. The total for the meeting was t £1.1,411, an increase of £1120 oil tho 1935 figures of £10,285. /_. Tho first two winners were Mat-a Hari (Hastings Handicap) and Count Willonyx (Whakatane Hurdles), both being second in order of betting. Additional results: —• HAVELOCK HANDICAP of £ 70.
