BARN DANCE.
FUNCTION AT UNIVERSITY.
An informal atmosphere prevailed at the University College on Saturday ni"-ht when the social committee held a "barn dance" in the College Hall. Placards about the hall adjured the patrons to leave horses, carts and dogs outside, and other touches contributed to the rural effect. The ladies' social committee comprised Miss Edome KingMason, Miss Shona Paterson, Miss Jean Morton-Smitli and Miss Mary Martin. Among those present were: Misses Margaret Shaw, Beryl Campbell, Joan Flemming, Eleanor Reid, Helen McCormick, Jean Bedford, Joan Barber, Mary Mcßeath, I. Moore, Joan Christensen, R. Mawliinney, Peggy Chambers, Wendy Metcalfe, Maureen Kay, Joan Graham, Mary Wrightson, Nancy Noy, Marjory Newman, Jean Thomson, Leslie Foote, Marie Bamford, Isobel Coates, Eexie Benton, Frances Nicholson, Thelma Stokes, Jean Clarke, Marie Best, R. Walker, Margaret Hipkins, Mary Earlly, Marjorie Hewan, N. Woodward, Barbara Busche, Natalie Jacobs, Nancy Coates, E. Asmus, Pat Roberta, Annette Every, M. Luxton, Margaret McLean, Eisme Hobbs and L. Walsh.
