LABOUR DANCE.
The Mangere East branch of the New Zealand Labour Party lieM a successful dance, on Wednesday evening , in tlie Mangere East Hall. The duties of master of ceremonies were ably carried out by Mr. Piper. Mr. G. Rose, the branch president, presented prizes to the winners of the Monte Carlo waltzes as follows: Miss Hewitt and Mr. Johnson I,' Miss E. Cairns and Mr. Gardan 2. Among those present were: Mesdames Cooper, W. L. Pirie, A. C. Haneox, J. L. Tunnell, Claiide Cunningham, R. Wright, A, Stewart, E. Marfiitt, J. Dewhurst, Misses Margaret McDermott, P. Lovell, Stella King, D. King, A. Adams, J. Haneox, -E. Cairns, Z. Tunnell, E. Wright, G. Wright, E, Scholium, D. Hagan.
