FINAL DECISION ANNOUNCED,

(Received 0.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Having failed to secure leave to appeal ao-ainst tlie death sentence imposed upon li?m for the murder of the Rev. Harold Laceby Cecil in his vicarage in iNorth Eitzroy last December, Edward Cornelius, agecl 29, motor mechanic, is to be hanged on June 22. This decision was made by the Executive Council within a few hours of the High Court's having dismissed the appeal. It will be the second execution in Victoria within three weeks.
