The final of the benefit tourney promoted by the Orange Bowling Association in Aid of the widows of the late airmen, McGregorland Fraser, was played in the Druids' Hall. Newton, on Monday night. Result: — Mrs McAuliffe, M. McLeod, J. Aehmore, F. .7. Mansell 7, v. Mrs. Meredith, Mrs. Young. V. Meredith, H. Young 5. The winners were a last minute combination who took the place of a defaulting team, and, although strangers to one another, managed to strike form when il was needed, and the skip, playing with great confidence, did the rest. INTBE-HOUSB AND PUBLIC SERVICES. The Auckland Inter-houso and Public Ser\f<jes' Indoor Bowling Association hold its next fours tourney in the Druids' Hall, Xewton, on Thursday night.
