AORANGI SAILING 10 P.M.
MONOWAI FROM SYDNEY. THE CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR. The Canadian-Australasian JRoyal mail liner Aorangi arrived at 3.15 p.m. yesterday from Vancouver, via Victoria, Honolulu and Suva. Slie brought wssengers, mails and cargo, and is at the Prince's wharf. She sails for Sydney at 10 p.m. with 190 passengers here, and is due at Sydney early on Friday morning'. The Union Company s passenger liner Monowai is due from Sydney" at 4 p.m. to-day with 122 passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland. She leaves for Wellington at 11' p.m. tomorrow, sailing from that port on 1' i i-1 day on her return to Sydney. The Canadian Constructor arrived from Wellington shortly before 11 a.m. yesterday, and is berthed at the King's wharf to complete loading for New York, Boston and Montreal. She will sail for New York, via Panama, to-morrow afternoon. Trojan Star, 9002 tons, sailed for London, via Panama, . shortly after 5 p.m. on Saturday. She had 12 passengers and a full cargo, and is due at London on July 20. (8.5.L.) Beatus, a British steamer of 4585 tons, arrived from Java this morning, berthing at Chelsea to discharge her cargo of raw sugar. (Spedding, Ltd.) Mariposa arrives at Suva to-morrow morning and sails at 5 p.m. for Auck-
land. She is due here at 7 a.m. on Fri- . day, sailing for Sydney and Melbourne at 8 p.m. (H. and M.) Tuscan Star, 11,440 tons, a regular trader to New Zealand, and last in Auckland on March 5, is aground in the harbour of Curacao, oil the eastern -coast pf South America, where she called for fuel. The vessel left Liverpool for Auckland on May 23, and' was due here on June 27. (8.5.L.) Huntingdon will arrive from Liverpool on Thursday at the powder ground, Motuibi. She may not berth until Saturday morning. (N.Z.S. Co.) Kairanga is due from Port Pirie on Wednesday morning. She is meeting with bad weather in the Tasman. ! (u.s.s. Co.) Kaimiro arrived from Greymouth last night and is at the King's wharf. She leaves for Sydney to-morrow night, via Portland and Whangaroa. (U.S.S. Co.) Waikouaiti, which arrived from the South on Saturday, sails on Wednesday for Sydney and Newcastle. (U.S.S. Co.) Melbourne Maru leaves Wellington at 4 p.m. to-day for Auckland, and is due ; on Wednesday morning. She is from Japan, and sails the following day on her return, via Australia. (F. Co-op.) Weifiand, a German steamer of SSG9 tons, is due on Thursday from New Orleans. (H. and M.) ■ Waiwera leaves Wellington on Sun- ; day, Napier on 15tli, Gisborne on 17th, ( and Opua on 20th inst. for Auckland' to complete loading for London and West Coast ports. (A.S.P.) Empire Star arrived at the Bluff yesterday from London to load. She is due at Auckland on June 22, and sails on J June 27 for London, via Cape Horn. ' (8.5.L.)
