MOTHERS' UNION.

PAPATOETOE BRANCH. There was a large attendance at the monthly meeting of the Mothers' Union, Papatoetoe branch, which was held in the St. George's Anglican Church. The devotional service was conducted by the Rev. H. H. Bedford. An interesting address was given by Mrs. M. Bab bington, of the Orakei Maori Pa, who spoke on the work of the Mothers' Union among the Maoris. Afternoon ■tea arranged by Mesdames T. Richards, F. Burnside, J. Hyland and Clark, brought a pleasant meeting to a close. POINT CHEVALIER. At the June meeting of Point Chevalier branch of the Mothers' Union, an interesting address was given by Miss Grenfell-Speneer, of the staff of the British and Foreign Bible Society. The speaker dealt with missions in ! Palestine, illustrating the subject with maps. There was a. good attendance of members, the president of the branch, Mrs. Rattray, being in the chair.
