FATHERS' DAY.

Eor some time past we have had a flow of letters advocating the idea of having a Fathers' Day. Who can see where all this will end? If we give the sentimentalists their head we shall have a Grandfathers' Day, a Fiancees' Day, a Pets' Day. There is just as much reason for the one as the other. Let parents have all respect, but don't make th?;n laughing stocks. If my boys wore a blue flower for me I should recommend some outdoor sp"i't as a stift'ener for their backbone. Talking about blue flowers as an embluju for l'i(licrs' Day, I suggest the par.sy. POP-EYE.
