TOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south -as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton:— Light to moderate and variable winds at first, but northerlies prevailing later. 'Weather fair to fine and mild. Seas slight to moderate. An h,nti-cyclone extends across the north Tasman Sea and the North Island, but a westerly depression is advancing across the South Tasman. For the Dominion. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day: The indications are for variable and moderate breezes; later moderate northerlies. There is a prospect of fair weather. Barometer little movement. Seas smooth to moderate. Hauraki Gulf Conditions. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritirl Island at noon to-day: Wind,, south-east, light; sea smooth; weather, fine ..but cloudy, jvith banks >f fog to the aastward; visibility fair; '• "ter steady.
