WITHDRAWAL NOTICE. Guatemala from League of Nations. EXPLANATION BY POST. (Received 10 a.m.) GENEVA, May 15. The Centra] American Republic of Guatemala has telegraphed the League of Nations Secretariat giving the necessary two years' notice of withdrawal. The dispatch adds that an explanation is being sent to Geneva by post. PARLEYS IN PARIS. MR. ANTHONY EDEN. British Official Wireless. (Received I p.m.) RUGBY, May 15. The Foreign Secretary,. Mr. Anthony Eden, arrived in London this evening from Geneva, having travelled to Croydon by air. On the way through Paris he saw the French Foreign Secretary, M. Flandin, and the prospective Premier, >I. Blum. Neither conversation was of an official character. M. Flandin was prevented by ill health from attending the recent meeting of the League Council at Geneva. In a private and informal talk Mr. Eden and M. Blum are understood to have made a general survey of international affairs.
