TWO MONTHS , REGISTRATIONS! HIGHEST SINCE 1924. The motor vehicle registrations recorded by the Poet Office during the months of February and March reached the highest totals for those months since, the inception of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1924. The figures for February were: Cars 2073, commercial vehicles r>o2, and motor cycles 2-lf), a total of 2884, which is an increase of 1194, or 70.7 per cent over the figures for February, 1935. Although the figures for March were not so high as those for the previous month, they nevertheless constitute a record for that month, detailed particulars of the registrations being: Cars 2035, commercial vehicles 010, motor cycles 200, a total of 2857, representing an increase of 938, or 48.8 per cent compared with the registrations for March, 1935.
