EXECUTIVE MEETING HELD.

The district executive met on Monday afternoon in the Temperance Room when Mrs. Kaspor presided over an attendance of 20 members. Devotions were led by Miss McKenzie. An apology tor absence was received from Mrs. Tasker Brown. A motion of sympathy was passed to Mrs. Kasper on the death of her sister. A recipe for Christmas cake without alcohol was given by Mrs. Williams. The sum of £10 was donated to headquarters debt reduction fund. Arrangements were made for a peace meeting on Monday, May 18, a prayer meeting and street collecting for the Community Sunshine Association. A strong protest was carried against Maori girls working in Chinese gardens. Miss Andrews, representing Mount Albert union, received a warm welcome.
