TAUPIRI COAL.

INCREASED PROFITS. DIVIDEND 1/ PER SHARE. After being off the dividend list for a couple of years in regard to ordinary shares, the directors of the Taupiri Coiil Mines, Limited, have decided to recommend a dividend for the year ended March 31 of 1/ per share. Net profits last year totalled £8042. compared with £1134 the previous period, and a ioss of over £12,000 in 1933-34. Added to this year's net profit of £8042 is a carry forward of £3020. Dividend on preference shares absorbed £1280. leaving a balance to be dealt with of £0791. The dividend now proposed will absorb £6500, leaving £3291 to be canted forward. Past Years Compared.
