POLITICS ON THE AIR.

"SOMETHING WORTH WHILE." (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DA RG A VILLI*;, Friday. "At last we are getting something worth while over the air," said Mr. P. Groom at the annual meeting of the Northern Wairoa sub-provincial executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday, in urging that a letter congratulating the Government on the manner in which Parliamentary proceedings had been broadcast should be sent. In supporting the suggestion, Mr. F. Staples said that they might as well throw bouquets now, as they would probably be throwing bricks later. It was decided to send a letter of congratulation.
