SEATS IN THE TRAMS.
Permit us to use a small space in your paper to ask tlio men of Auckland a question. Where are the mannerly fellows we used to know a few years ago? We travel by tram every dav to work, and every day we stand while the men sit. We admit that some men stand all clay in shops, but then so do we. Often we have given our seats to elderly ladies while the men sit still. Even ladies with babies in their arms have been seen standing. Now, men, we ask you what about it? The principle of the thing is all wrong. THE STANDING MEMBERS.
