LADIES' PENNANT. MAUNGAKIEKIE WINS. B GRADE CONTEST ALL SQUARE. ! The first of the ladies' inter-club pennant mawjhes was decided yesterday in ideal conditions. One A grade match was played and resulted in a win for Maungakiekie, which defeated 'Titirangi by 7 games to 5. In the B grade section four contests were decided. Pupuke, Glendowie and Akarana defeated North Shore, Otahuhu and Auckland respectively, while the contest between Maungakiekie and i'itirangi finished all square, each team securing six wins.
