OBITUARY.

MRS. W. G. JONES. The death has occurred of Mrs. W. G. Jones, of Waipuna Road, Ellerslic. The youngest daughter of Mr. William Ballard, marine engineer, Mrs. Jones was •well known on the West Coast of the South Island, where she resided for many years. After her marriage she lived at Karamea and Westport, subsequently removing to Wanganui. During the past six years she has made her home in Auckland, first at Manure wa and latterly at Ellerslie. Her husband, Mr. W. G. Jones, survives her, also three sons, Messrs. Douglas and Meyrick Jones (Auckland), Mr. Llewellyn Jones (Wellington), and one daughter, Mrs. A. Guthrie (Ellerslie). There, are six grandchildren.
