Mr. Donald James Fletcher, aged 41, single, a seaman 011 the Claymore, was struck by a basket of coal at Wliangarei on Monday, and suffered concussion. When the vessel arrived at Auckland yesterday morning, he was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. His condition to-day was regarded as serious.
