PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of professional golfers held in Auckland decided to form an association, to be called the Northern Professional Golfers' Association. The main object of the new bodv is to foster more matches with the clubs in the Auckland Province by holding open day tournaments. Officers were elected :—Captain, 'A. Murray : vice-captain, Basil Smith; committee, T. Galloway and N. Bell (secretary). The first tournament, will be held during the week-end at the North Shore Club's links.
