ANNUAL MEETINGS.

AUCKLAND REFEREES. MR. A. A. LUCAS STILL PRESIDENT. There was a large attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Auckland Rugby Referees' Association. Mr. A. A. Lucas was in the chair. The president expressed his appreciation of those referees who controlled the "Bert" Palmer Memorial Cup competition. Messrs. A. E. Austin. J. Malcolm, C. F. Paull and G. C. Pearce were congratulated on qualifying for the Auckland Rugby Union's repre-

sentative blazer. During the off season Mr. Austin was transferred to Invercargill. The relations between the Auckland Union ajid the referees had been most cordial throughout the season. Officers elected President, Mr. A. A. Lucas; vice-president, Mr. J. Finlayson; treasurer, Mr. J. Hebden ; executive, Messrs. C. F. Paull, J. G. C. Wales, J. Malcolm; examination committee, Dr. Briggs, Messrs. D. V. Moore and J. Finlayson; decisions committee, Messrs. P. Mackie, A. A. Lucas, C. F. Paull; representative on Auckland Rugby Union, Mr. J. Sweeney; representative to nnnual conference of the New Zealand Rugby Referees' Association, Mr. A. A. Lucas; representative on junior management board, Mr. V. Keefe; member of appointments board, Mr. G. Grigg.

JUNIOR MANAGEMENT.

Officers elected at the annual meeting of delegates to the junior management board of the Auckland Rugby Union last evening:—Messrs. C. Addison, C. H. Worsfold, A. L. Slmmonds, H. C. Rowland J Hoare, J. Carr, E. Matthews, H. Little C'" Cherney, J. B. Proud, A. Craig, A. Tillv Mr. Arthur Tilly was re-elected chairman of the board and representative to the Auckland Rugby Union.

EASTER CONFERENCE,

(By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. „ The annual conference of the New Zealand Rugby Referees' Association will be held here on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, April 10 and 11. More than 30 delegates are expected. The meeting is expected to be the most momentous in the history of the association.
