WOMEN'S CRICKET.
AUCKLAND V. WANGANUI,
GAME AT REMUERA SATURDAY.
The Wanganui women's representative XI. will visit Auckland this week, and on Saturday will meet the Auckland XI. in a challenge match for the Amalgamated Theatres Shield. The match will be a oneday match, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and wiil be held at the Remuera hockey grounds. , The shield will be presented to the winning team at the Civic Theatre on Saturday night, by Mr. Malone, on behalf of Amalgamated Theatres, Ltd. It will be remembered that Inst month the match Wellington v. Auckland for this shield had to be abandoned on account of rain, the shield remaining the property of Auckland. The WaDganui players will arrive on Friday morning, returning Monday afternoon.
