AUCKLAND LECTURES.

The first of a series of lecturcs on motoring, conducted by the Auckland University College, will be given in the school of engineering to-night, commencing at eight o'clock. The lectures are intended for the owner-driver, and should be of wide interest to motorists.

The series of lectures conducted by the Workers' Educational Association will be opened at the Old Grammar School this evening at 7.30. Mr. W. J. Lyon, M.P., will speak to-night on "Finding the Money." A series entitled "Science and Human Welfare" "will commence on Thursday.

A lecture entitled "The Great Pyramid" will be given to-night under the auspices of the Auckland British-Israel Association in Pacific Buildings, Welles ley Street. Mr. R. C. Potter will be the speaker.
