O'REILLY TAKES SIX WICKETS

Ideal conditions prevailed for the commencement of the match to-day between the Australian Test cricket team and Western Province. The home team batted first, being dismissed for 198.

' Grimmett, McCabe and Fleetwood-Smith were omitted from the Australian team. The opposing side included the veteran South African international players H. Taylor and A. D. Nourse. The lastnamed is father of the present South African Test player.
