NORTH SHORE CLUB,
Ninety-six players took part in the mixed foursomes with which the North Shore Club opened the winter season. Scores were :—Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Preston, 00— 19 77 : Miss Mason and H. TITIRANGI CLUB.
Medal handicap matches for seniors and juniors were played at the Titirangi links. The senior event was won by W. I'aton, with a card of 80—13—07. good carcls were: —Robson, 75—0—69; Young, 72 —I—7l1—71 ; Laycock, 82—10—72. The junior event was won by W. Fowlds, with a score of 59—19—70. Other good cards were: —Stone, S9—lS —71; Alpc, 84—1G—72; Taylor, 97—25—72; Somurville, 92—20—72.
AKARANA CLUB,
A Stableford bogey match, played at Akarana under summer handicaps, resulted in a win for W. Butler, who returned the excellent card of (23 —11 —-34). T best cards were: P. Smith (30 —--) 3-, list. Clair Brown' (29 —3) 32, S. Booth (26—6) 32, G. Stewart (24 —u) 29.

PUPUKE CLUB
The 1930 season opened at Pupuko with a large attendance of members and their friends, an enjoyable afternoon being spent. Tlie links were in excellent condition, and over SO players took part in a mixed Canadian foursomes over IS holes. Several good cards were returned, the best being: — Miss D. Williams and H. Probert, 83 —22 —01. Other good scores were: Miss K. Mills and R. Nicholas, 77—15—02; Miss M. Alison and G. Gooding, 56—22 —04 ; Mrs. Paul Thompson and W. B. Wilson, Si 10—05 : Mrs. 13. Goldwater and W. Ross, S2—l7 —05.
