A lucky escape from injury was experienced by Mr. Harry Etlieridge, of Napier, when a Moth machine belonging to the HawkeVs Bay and "East Coast Aero Club, which ho was piloting, came to grief on the Maraenui golf links. The propeller of the machine was broken, the undercarriage crushed and the left wing damaged.
